Terms & Conditions

  1. HP is offering a loyalty Platform, open to schools, colleges and academies located in one of the Territories (as defined at Clause 3 below) (“Participants”). Participation in the various HPfE Promotions available to Participants through the HPfE Platform will allow them to progress through the Tier System (as defined at Clause 8) which in turn provides different rewards and benefits, including access to further Promotions.
  2. To progress through the Tier System Participants must take part in HPFE Promotions available at any given time through the HPfE Platform. Participants are able to view a list of the current HPfE Promotions in their HPfE Platform dashboard. Details of the Tier System and progression routes are set out at Table 1 below.
  3. The Platform is open to all Participants located in either the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland (“Territories”).
  4. To enrol in the Platform, Participants must visit: 2019.hpfe.com, providing the requested details including a valid Ofsted or Unique Reference Number, contact details of the relevant individual responsible for procurement and the bank details registered to the Participant to create an account on the HPfE Platform. Upon creation, all Participant accounts shall initially be placed at the Standard Level (as defined at Table 1 below). Enrolment in the Platform is free for all Participants.
  5. Membership of the Platform is offered at the direction of HP. HP reserves the right to refuse or suspend membership of any Participant. Where a Participant no longer operates within the Territories, membership of the Platform will automatically be terminated. Where a Participant, in the opinion of HP, partakes in misconduct or abuse of the Platform, HP reserves the right to terminate their membership of the Platform.
  6. Through HPfE Promotions, Participants may earn “Wallet Credit”, which may be exchanged for goods and services available on the “HPfE Marketplace” (in accordance with the separate terms available at 2019.hpfe.com where indicated). Unless stated otherwise in the relevant HPFE Promotion Terms and Conditions in which the Wallet Credit is earnt through, all Wallet Credit shall expire 60 days after being credited to a Participant’s HPFE Wallet
  7. In order to spend Wallet Credit, Participants may allocate Wallet Credit towards a Seller on the HPfE Marketplace. On allocation of the Wallet Credit the Seller will dispatch the relevant goods and services to the Participant. In order to release the Wallet Credit to settle the Seller’s invoice using such funds, the Participant must confirm that they have received the goods and/or services through the HPfE Platform, under ‘Order History'. Failure to do so will result in the Wallet Credit not being released.
  8. All Participants in the HPfE Platform will be eligible to participate in the “Tier System”. The Tier System shall consist of three levels; Standard, Expert and Master. These Tiers are outlined below at Table 1, along with the relevant requirements to reach each Tier.

    Standard Participants shall enter the Tier System at the Standard level. Participants must first create an account on the HPfE Platform in accordance with the process outlined at Condition 4 above and accepted these Platform Terms and Conditions as a whole.
    Expert Following account creation, Participants must successfully participate in the HPFE Trade-in Promotion and where applicable choose to take a Credit Reward to their HPfE wallet rather than a cash Reward.
    Master Upon reaching Expert level, Participants who wish to reach Master level must successfully participate in the HPfE Loyalty Reward Program/Promotion.
  9. The Promotions available to Participants at different Tier Levels is set out at below in Table 2.

  10. For avoidance of doubt only issues related to the technical functionality of the HPfE Platform shall be the responsibility of HP. Any issues related to transactions taking place on the HPfE Platform, or other information displayed on the Platform relating to goods and services shall be the responsibility of the respective seller. For more information relating to transactions on HPfE Platform, please see the HPfE Marketplace Terms.
  11. In accordance with Condition 10 above, Participants who have an issue or concern relating to the functionality of the HPfE Platform should contact 03452160104 (UK) or 01800939137 (ROI) between the hours of 9am-5pm (weekdays) (local time).
  12. Wallet Credit cannot be transferred to another Participant and do not have any cash value.
  13. Any tax related liability that occurs through use of the HPfE Platform shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant.
  14. HP reserves the right to change or cancel the HPfE Platform and the related benefits at any time with 14 days’ notice.
  15. HP reserves the right to amend the HPfE Platform Terms and Conditions or the Terms and Conditions of any HPfE Promotion at any time with 14 days notice.
  16. All information gathered under the HPfE Platform shall be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy available here.   17. The Platform shall be governed by the law of England and Wales.
  1. In order to participate in the HPfE 2019 Trade-in Promotion (“Promotion”), Schools, Colleges or Academies located in either in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland (“Participants”), must be enrolled in the HPfE 2019 Platform in accordance with Term 8 of the HPfE Platform Terms.
  2. This Promotion is open to all Participants at the Standard, Expert and Master Tiers of the HPfE Platform.
  3. In order to participate in this Promotion, Participants must have purchased one or more new HP Products as listed as a Trade-in Qualifying Product at 2019.hpfe.com on the relevant page (“Qualifying Product”).
  4. Purchases of Qualifying Products must be made during the period commencing from the 1st August 2019 (00:01-GMT) 2019 through until 31st August 2019 (23:59-GMT) (“Promotion Period”) from any reseller listed on the Authorised Reseller page at 2019.hpfe.com (“Authorised Reseller”).
  5. On purchase of a Qualifying Product in accordance with Condition 4 above, Participants must subsequently trade in a device that meets the criteria set out at Condition 14 (“Trade-in Device”), following the process set out in these Promotion Terms (“Trade-in Process”).
  6. The process referenced in Conditions 4 and 5 above must be completed by the Participant only, with the only exceptions where either Master Tier Participant elects to use the HPfE ‘One Click’ service or where an Authorised Reseller offers the HPfE ‘On Behalf Of’ Service. Where available to the Participant, Participants must call (UK) 03452160046 or (ROI) 012460272 with the information listed at Conditions 7 and 9 below. Where the Participant uses this service HP (for One Click) or the Authorised Reseller (On Behalf Of) shall conduct the Claim on behalf of the Participant from the point of Claim submission.

    Trade-in Process
  7. To make a Claim, Participants must visit 2019.hpfe.com and submit the requested information including proof of purchase in accordance with Condition 9 within 30 days of purchasing a Qualifying Product, for avoidance of doubt the date on which Participants are invoiced for their purchased Qualifying Product shall count as day 1 (one) (“Claim”). Where the Claim is approved the Participant shall have 30 days (from the date of Claim approval) to dispatch their Trade-In Devices to the address supplied on the prepaid postage label supplied via email following Claim approval (the “Qualifying Trade-in Period”). Participants who elect to use the HPfE ‘One Click’ Service (as referred to in Condition 6 above) will have 90 days to dispatch their Trade-In Devices from the date of invoice. During the submission of a Claim, Participants will be entitled to choose whether they receive any eligible Reward related to the Claim as either a monetary reward (“Cash Reward”) or alternatively elect to take a credit equivalent paid into their HPFE Platform Wallet (“Credit Reward”) as defined in the HPFE Platform Terms. For the avoidance of doubt Participants who elect to use One Click are only eligible for a Credit Reward. Details of the relevant Reward amounts are set out at Table 1 below.

  8. Claims with Trade-ins that are dispatched after the Qualifying Trade-in Period has concluded will not be accepted and will be recycled free of charge.
  9. Participants are required to upload proof of purchase in the form of a sales invoice or receipt clearly detailing the purchase of the Qualifying Product, the purchase date, purchase price and Authorised Reseller name.
  10. The outcome of a Claim shall be communicated to the Participant within three (3) working days. For the avoidance of doubt, Participants are eligible to receive one (1) Reward for each Qualifying Product purchased where a valid Claim is made against it in accordance with these Participant Terms. Participants are permitted to make a Claim against a maximum of one-thousand (1000) Qualifying Products purchased during the Promotional Period.
  11. On Claim approval, Participants will receive a pre-paid postage label and a barcode for each Trade-In Device within the Claim.
  12. Participants must print and include the relevant barcode with the corresponding Trade-In Device in order for the Participant to receive their Reward. Trade-In Devices must be individually and securely packaged. HP cannot accept liability for any Claims or related Trade-In Devices lost, damaged or destroyed in transit, or where the relevant barcode is not attached to the Trade-In Device.
  13. For Claims of 10 Trade-In Devices or more, a free pick-up service is available. The pick-up service includes a maximum 2 pick-up attempts by the courier, any additional pick-up attempts will incur a direct cost to the Participant or be refused. Where a Participant’s Claim qualifies for this service, they will be informed through the HPfE Platform accordingly.
  14. For a device to qualify as a Trade-In Device, it must be a working and complete Laptop (minimum 10” screen), Desktop or Tablet (minimum 10” screen). Reasonable wear and tear accepted. Laptops and Tablets must include the battery and power adaptor. Thin clients, password protected or BIOS locked trade in units shall not qualify for this Promotion. Where the device does not meet these standards, HP reserves the right to refuse or re-evaluate the relevant Reward due to the Participant in accordance with Table 2 below. Where the Trade-in Device is revalued, HP shall notify the Participant of the revised Reward value within 5 working days. Participants shall then have 14 further days from receipt of this email to accept or decline the revised Reward amount. Where the Participant does not communicate their preference within this timeline, they will be deemed to have accepted the revised Reward amount.

  15. For Trade-in Devices that are monitors, the monitor must be working and complete with the correct power supply. CRT monitors shall not qualify for this Promotion.
  16. Trade-in Devices must be the rightful property of the Participant and must be collected from the address provided during account registration.
  17. Provided that the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion have been met, the Reward will be transferred to the Participant’s HP for Education Wallet or bank account within 5 working days of validation of their Claim.
  18. Reward Credit will remain in the Participant’s HP for Education Wallet for 60 days after which time it shall expire and will no longer be available. For further information regarding Reward Credit please see the Platform Terms.
  19. This Promotion is not transferable to another individual or establishment.
  20. HP reserves the right to change Qualifying Products during the Promotional Period on 14 days’ notice.
  21. HP accepts no responsibility for lost or confidential data and software. Upon receipt of the Trade-in Device, all data will be destroyed. We are unable to retrieve any Participant data once a Trade-in Device has been received. Deletion of all confidential data and information, which are in each case subject to applicable data protection legislation, and are possibly stored on the product to be traded-in, is the responsibility of the Participant.
  22. HP is not responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website, or other failures or damage of any kind to the extent that this prevents the Participant from or otherwise obstructs them in participating in the Promotion.

  24. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon enrolling in the HPfE Platform.
  25. If a Claim is refused because the terms of the Promotion have not been met, HP’s decision is final. HP reserves the right to withdraw, amend or terminate the Promotion with 14 days notice.

  1. The HPfE Marketplace (“Marketplace”) is open to Schools, Colleges or Academies located in either in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland who are enrolled in the HPfE 2019 Platform at the Master Tier level in accordance with Term 8 of the HPfE Platform Terms (“Platform Terms”).
  2. Participants shall be able to access the Marketplace through their HPfE Platform Account (“Website”). The Marketplace shall contain goods and services offered by “Authorised Resellers” and Microsoft Service Providers (“MSP”). A full list of Authorised Resellers and MSP’s (together known as the “Sellers”) is available HERE.
  3. Participants may exchange credits (“Wallet Credit”) earnt in accordance with the HPFE Platform Terms towards goods and services available on the Marketplace.
  4. For the avoidance of doubt HP is not a party to any transaction relating to the Marketplace and is simply providing a venue for the transaction to take place.
  5. On allocation of Wallet Credit towards a product or service on the Marketplace, Sellers will be requested to dispatch the goods to the Participant. For avoidance of doubt the Seller shall provide an invoice to the Participant outside of the HPFE Marketplace. On receipt of the chosen goods the Participant must confirm where requested on the HPfE Platform receipt of the goods to release the allocated Wallet Credit to allow satisfaction of the Seller’s invoice.
  6. By using the Marketplace, Participants agree that the Marketplace is a venue only, Participants who comply with these Terms and Conditions may purchase goods and services from Sellers. HP is not directly involved in transactions between Sellers and Participants, such transactions are subject to the relevant Seller terms of sale.
  7. Considering Condition 6, HP has no control over the quality, safety morality or legality of the goods or services listed, and makes no warranties (express or otherwise) relating (but not limited) to:
    • The ability of Sellers to provide the exact goods offered on the Marketplace;
    • That a Seller in a transaction can complete any transaction taking place on the Marketplace;
    • The completeness, or accuracy of the information provided on the Website.
  8. Any disputes not related to the technical functionality of the Website shall should be directed to the relevant Seller providing the goods or services. HP takes no responsibility for Participant transaction support; such support shall be the sole responsibility of the Seller.
  9. All transactions facilitated on the Marketplace shall be governed by the purchase terms of the relevant Seller. For a full list of Sellers and their applicable terms please see Here. Sellers will have different processing and shipping times and therefore it is recommended Participants refer to these before using the Marketplace.
  10. The Marketplace shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  1. The HPfE 2019 Loyalty Rewards Promotion (“Promotion”) is open to all Schools, Colleges or Academies located in either the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland, who are enrolled in the HPfE 2019 Platform in accordance with Term 8 of the HPfE Platform Terms.
  2. This Promotion is open to Participants at all Tiers of the HPfE Platform.
  3. In order to participate in this Promotion, Participants must have purchased one or more new HP Product(s) as listed in Table 1 below (“Qualifying Product”).
  4. Purchases of Qualifying Products must be made during the period commencing from the 1st February 2019 (00:01-GMT) through until 31st January 2020 (23:59-GMT) (“Promotion Period”) from any reseller listed Here (“Authorised Reseller”).
  5. On purchase of a Qualifying Product in accordance with Condition 4 above (presuming full compliance with these Terms and Conditions), the Participant shall be eligible to claim a Reward in the form of credit applied to their HPfE wallet, which can be exchanged for goods and services available on the HP Marketplace (“Reward”). The exact amount of the Reward shall vary depending on the Qualifying Product purchased and is set out at in Table 1 below.

  7. After making a purchase in accordance with Condition 4, Participants must register their purchase at 2019.hpfe.com using their HPfE Platform login credentials and provide the requested information, including a valid proof of purchase from an Authorised Reseller, stating the Qualifying Product purchased, purchase price, date of purchase and any other requested information (“Claim”).
  8. Participants must submit their Claim within 30 to 60 days of purchase. The date of the relevant invoice shall be considered as day one (1) (“Claim Window”). Claims received outside of the Claim Window shall be considered invalid.
  9. Once the Claim has been received, the Participant will receive confirmation of receipt within 1 working day via email from support@hpfe.com and a second email within 3 working days stating whether or not the Claim has been successful. It is the Participant's responsibility to contact HP using the email address above within seven days of their Claim being submitted if email confirmation has not been received.
  10. Participants are permitted to make one Claim per Qualifying Product purchased up to a maximum of 50 Claims total within the Promotional Period.
  11. HP reserves the right to audit and subsequently disqualify any Claim that it considers not to be in compliance with these Promotion Terms. In order to support this audit, HP reserves the right to request any relevant information (without limitation) related to a Participant’s Claim(s).
  12. Providing that the Participant has complied with these Terms and Conditions fully, they shall receive a Reward in accordance with Table 1 to their HPfE wallet within 3 working days.
  13. Where a Participant returns the Qualifying Product, any Claims made in relation to that Qualifying Product shall be deemed invalid and subsequently cancelled
  14. All liability for tax in relation to the Reward is the sole responsibility of the Participant.
  15. HP reserves the right to amend or cancel the terms of this Promotion at any time without notice.

The HPfE Proof of Concept Promotion (“Promotion”) is open to Schools, Colleges or Academies located in either the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland who are enrolled in the HPfE 2019 Platform in accordance with Term 8 of the HPfE Platform Terms (“Platform Terms”) and who have reached Master Tier Level status within the Platform.
  2. Participants shall be able to access the Proof of Concept Marketplace (“Marketplace”) through their HPfE Platform Account (“Website”). The Marketplace shall contain a sample of HP selected and approved services and goods (Seeding Units) from Microsoft Service Providers (“MSP’s”), available at no extra cost to Participants.
  3. Each Participant shall be entitled to 1 (one) of each Seeding Unit available on the Marketplace, subject to stock and availability.
  4. Seeding Units available on the Marketplace shall be refreshed on an annual basis, with the first period commencing on the 1st February 2019 and continuing until the 31st January 2020.
  5. MSP’s may provide promotional codes to net new users (i.e. Participants who were not previously participating in the HPfE Platform) of the HPfE Platform on a discretionary basis (“Promotional Codes”).
  6. Promotional Codes shall allow Schools, Colleges and Academies enrolled in the HPfE Platform newly enrolled at the Standard Tier level (“Code Participants”) to access the Marketplace on a limited basis as described in Conditions 7 to 8 below.
  7. Code Participants shall be able to access the Marketplace through their HPfE Account upon entering a valid Promotional Code under their account page where directed.
  8. Code Participants shall be entitled to 1 (one) seeding unit on the Marketplace an no extra cost, on the condition that the selected Seeding Unit is provided by the MSP that provided the Participant with the code originally.
  9. For the avoidance of doubt HP is not a party to any transaction relating to the Marketplace and is simply providing a venue for the transaction to take place. MSP’s shall be solely responsible for contacting the Participant and delivery of the Seeding Unit.
  10. By taking part in the Promotion and using the Marketplace, Participants agree that the Marketplace is a venue only.
  11. HP has no responsibility, and makes no warranties (express or otherwise) relating (but not limited) to:
    • The ability of MSP’s to provide the Seeding Units offered;
    • That the seller has the ability to complete a transaction;
    • The completeness, or accuracy of the information provided on the Website.
  12. Any disputes not related to the technical functionality of the Website shall should be directed to the relevant MSP providing the Seeding Unit. HP takes no responsibility for Participant transaction support, such support shall be the sole responsibility of the MSP.

  1. The HPfE Group Buying Promotion (“Promotion”) is open to schools, colleges and academies located in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland who meet the following criteria (“Participant”):
    • Enrolled in the HPfE Platform, in accordance with the HPfE Platform Terms;
    • Following enrolment, but before making an Initial Claim (as defined at Condition [1.c.vi]) below have achieved Expert or Master Tier Level within the HPfE Platform;
    • Be enrolled in the Microsoft ‘Shape the Future’ Program in accordance with the relevant terms as available Here and have validated said enrolment by inputting their Microsoft Serial Number into the HPfE Platform where directed; and
    • Have purchased one or more eligible ‘Group Buying Products’ as part of the “HP Trade-in Promotion” and gone on to make one or more valid Claims as defined in the relevant terms and conditions.
  2. Purchases of Group Buying Products must be made within the period commencing on the 1st February 2019 to 31st January 2020 (“Promotion Period”). To be considered eligible for the Promotion, all purchases of Group Buying Products must be made from one of the Authorised Resellers, listed HERE.
  3. Every Group Buying Product purchased in accordance with Condition 2 above shall be counted towards the HPfE Group Buying total (“Buying Total”).
  4. As more Group Buying Products are purchased by Participants the Buying Total shall increase, Participants shall receive varying amounts of HPfE Wallet Credit per Group Buying Product purchased (“Reward”) to their associated HPfE account, with the amount of Reward being dependant on the level of the Buying Total and the threshold achieved at the time of the Participant’s Claim being validated within the HP Trade-in Promotion. The specific Reward amounts at different Buying Total thresholds are set out at Table 1 below.
  5. Participants shall receive their Reward(s) within 3 working days when either (or both) of the conditions apply:
    • At the point of validation of the relevant Trade-in Claim (under the HP Trade-in Promotion) the Participant shall receive a credit Reward variable on the current Buying Total equal to the amount set out at Table 1 below (as based on the current Buying Total) (“Initial Reward”); and/or
    • Participants shall receive an additional Reward of 5.00 HPfE Wallet Credit per Qualifying Product purchased each time the Buying Total passes one of the thresholds set out in Table 1 below (“Subsequent Reward”). Note that Subsequent Rewards will only be paid out on passed thresholds in excess of the Buying Total at the time the Initial Reward is paid.

  6. Participants are able to view the current Buying Total via their HPfE Platform Account using their login credentials as provided in accordance with the HPfE Platform Terms.
  7. HP reserves the right to amend or cancel the terms of this Promotion at any time without notice.
  8. The tax liability of any Reward shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant only.

  11. This Promotion shall be governed by the law of England and Wales.
  1. The HPfE 2019 Tech Fund (“Competition”), is open to Schools, Colleges or Academies located in either the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland enrolled and in the HPfE 2019 Platform at the Master Tier level in accordance with Term 8 of the HPfE Platform Terms available [HERE] (“Participant”).
  2. HP is offering the Competition whereby a Participant, on submission of an Entry (as defined in Condition 3 below), will have a chance to win 25,000 HPfE Wallet Credit applied to their account (“Prize”).
  3. Participants who wish to take part in the Competition must submit an explanation of why they should be a recipient of the Prize, stating how the Participant would benefit from the additional funds the Prize offers (“Entry”).
  4. Entries must be made between the 1st February 2019 through to the 31st January 2020 (“Entry Period”).
  5. Within the Entry Period, HP shall offer 4 separate Prizes on a quarterly basis (one per quarter). For avoidance of doubt Participants shall only be eligible to win a Prize allocated to the quarter their Entry is made.
  6. Participants may enter only once per quarter, up to a maximum of 4 Entries in total within the Entry Period. Participants who make a Winning Entry (as defined in Condition 7 below) shall not be eligible to make any further Entries within the Entry Period.
  7. HP shall use a judging panel with at least one independent member to select a winning entry (“Winning Entry”). HP’s decision in this regard is final and no correspondence shall be entered into relating to the decision process.
  8. Subject to full compliance with these Terms and Conditions, Participants who make a winning Entry shall have 25,000 HPfE Wallet funds credited to their account within 3 working days of winner being selected and announced.
  9. HP shall announce Winning Entries within 14 days of the conclusion of each quarter, in accordance with the quarter ends below:
    • April 30th 2019;
    • July 31st 2019;
    • October 31st 2019;
    • January 31st 2020.
  10. Notwithstanding the terms of the HPfE Platform (available HERE), no further purchase is necessary in order to take part in the Competition.
  11. Only Participants may take part in the Competition. Entries submitted by other parties (including resellers) shall be considered null and void and not eligible to receive a Prize.
  12. Wallet Credit awarded through the Competition shall have no expiry date.
  13. Participants are solely responsible for any tax implications or liability related to the Prize.
  14. HP is not responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website, or other failures or damage of any kind to the extent that this prevents the Participant from or otherwise obstructs them in participating in the Competition.

  16. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon enrolling in the HPfE Platform.
  1. The HPfE Guaranteed Future Value Promotion (“GFV Promotion”) is open to schools, colleges and academies located in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland who meet the criteria set out below (“Participant”):
    1. Enrolled in the HPfE Platform, in accordance with the HPfE Platform Terms as available HERE;
    2. Following enrolment, but before making an Initial Claim (as defined at Condition [1.c.vi]) below have achieved Expert or Master Tier Level within the HPfE Platform;
    3. Where the Participant has not previously taken part in the GFV Promotion, they must comply with Condition 1.c(i) below. Where the Participant has taken part in the GFV Promotion previously, they may choose to either fulfil Condition 1.c(i) or 1.c(ii) below at their discretion:
      1. Purchase one or more eligible “Trade-in Products” listed HERE as part of the “HPfE Trade-in Promotion” and have subsequently made a valid claim in accordance with the HPfE Trade-in Promotion Terms and Conditions available HERE;
      2. Have purchased one or more eligible “GFV Products” listed HERE as part of the GFV Promotion and subsequently made a valid Claim (as defined at Condition 7 below), in full compliance with these Promotion Terms;
      3. For the purposes of these Promotion Terms, Trade-in Products and GFV Products shall both be considered a “Qualifying Product” and collectively “Qualifying Products”;
      4. Conditions 1.c(i) and 1.c(ii) shall both be considered an “Initial Claim” for the purposes of this Promotion;
    4. Have opted into the Promotion (following an Initial Claim) through the HPfE Asset Register; and
    5. Purchase an additional Qualifying Product as part of either the HPfE Trade-in Promotion or the GFV Promotion (in full compliance with the relevant Promotion Terms and Conditions) (“Subsequent Purchase”) within 24 months but not before 12 months following the date of purchase of the original Qualifying Product (“GFV Period”).
    6. To be eligible under the GFV Promotion, the Qualifying Product purchased within the Subsequent Purchase must have an MSRP of equal or greater value than the Qualifying Product purchased within the Initial Claim as shown on the relevant proof of purchase.
  2. To be eligible to take part in the Promotion, Participants must complete Conditions 1(a)-1(d) above between the 1st May 2019 (00:01 - BST) and the 31st January 2020 (23:59 – GMT) (“Opt-In Period”).
  3. To be considered eligible for the GFV Promotion, Qualifying Products must be purchased from an Authorised Reseller as listed HERE.
  4. Following the Subsequent Purchase, Participants shall be eligible to trade in their Qualifying Product purchased within the Initial Claim and claim a reward in the form of HP Wallet Credit applied to the Participant’s HPfE Wallet with the value being calculated in accordance with Condition 5 below (“GFV Reward”) subject to full compliance with these Promotion Terms.
  5. The GFV Reward value of a Qualifying Product will be calculated by applying the applicable percentage as shown at Table 1 below to the lower of either:
    1. The manufacturer set suggested selling price (MSRP) of the relevant Qualifying Product at the time of purchase; or
    2. The actual purchase price paid by the Participant for the Qualifying Product as stated on the relevant proof pf purchase as supplied by the Participant during the Claim process.

  6. All GFV Reward values shall be paid as HPfE Wallet Credit, applied to the relevant Participant’s account. Participants can view the potential GFV Value of any purchased Qualifying Product by visiting their Asset Register and selecting the relevant Qualifying Product.
  7. Following their Subsequent Purchase, Participants wishing to make a Claim for a GFV Reward must visit 2019.hpfe.com, select the relevant Qualifying Product they intend to trade-in for the GFV Reward within their Asset Register and follow the prompts, providing the information set out at Condition 9 below to make a “Claim”.
  8. For the avoidance of doubt, Participants are only able to make Claims against Qualifying Products purchased after opting into the Promotion in accordance with Condition 1(d) above.
  9. Participants making a Claim must submit all information requested at the time of Claim, including but not limited to proof of purchase stating the purchase price, quantity of Qualifying Products and the Authorised Reseller the purchase(s) was made from.
  10. Following the submission of a Claim, the Promoter shall communicate the outcome of the Claim to the Participant within three (3) working days. For the avoidance of doubt Participants may only claim (1) Reward per Qualifying Product purchased and one per Qualifying product traded in within the relevant Claim.
  11. Upon the successful submission of a Claim, the Participant shall receive a pre-paid postage label (one per Claim) and a “Barcode” for each Qualifying Product to be traded in. Participants must dispatch their Qualifying Product to the Promoter (to the address specified on the pre-paid label) within ten (10) working days of receiving the postage label.
  12. To receive the GFV Reward Participants must print and include the relevant Barcode(s) with the corresponding Qualifying Product(s) in order for the Participant to receive their GFV Reward.  Qualifying Products must be individually and securely packaged. HP cannot accept liability for any Claims lost, damaged or destroyed in transit, or where the relevant Barcode is not included in any shipment.
  13. For Claims of 10 Qualifying Products (to be traded in) or more, a free pick-up service is available. The pick-up service includes a maximum 2 pick-up attempts by the courier, any additional pick-up attempts will be charged to the Participant Where a Participant’s Claim qualifies for this service, they will be informed through the system accordingly. Any such pick up must take place from the address originally specified by the Participant during the Claim process.
  14. To qualify for the Promotion, the Qualifying Product to be traded in must:
    1. Be fully working and complete;
    2. complete with all accessories (including the original power supply if relevant);
    3. not BIOS locked, or password protected in any way;
    4. the rightful property of the Participant.
  15. Where the Qualifying Product traded in does not meet the requirements set out at Condition 14 above the Promoter reserves the right to refuse or revalue the relevant GFV Reward due to the Participant in compliance with Table 2 below. Any such decision is made at the full discretion of the Promoter only. Where the relevant Qualifying Product is revalued, HP shall notify the Participant of the revised amount within 5 working days. Participants shall then have 5 further working days from receipt of this email to accept or decline the revised GFV Reward amount. Where the Participant does not communicate their preference within this timeline, they will be deemed to have accepted the revised GFV Reward amount.

  16. Providing that the Promotion Terms are fully complied with the Promoter shall credit the Participant’s HPfE Wallet with the relevant GFV Reward within five (5) working days of receipt of the Qualifying Product by Promoter.
  17. HPfE Wallet Credit will remain in the Participant’s HPfE Wallet Credit for 60 days after which time it shall expire and will no longer be available. For further information regarding Reward Credit please see the Platform Terms available HERE.
  18. The tax liability of any Reward paid shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant only.
  19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost or confidential data and software. Upon receipt of the Qualifying Product, all data will be destroyed. The Promoter is unable to retrieve any Participant data once the device has been received. Deletion of all confidential data and information, which are in each case subject to applicable data protection legislation and are possibly stored on the relevant device to be traded-in, is the responsibility of the Participant. 
  20. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website, or other failures or damage of any kind to the extent that this prevents the Participant from or otherwise obstructs them in participating in the Promotion.

  22. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon enrolling in the HPfE Platform.
  23. If a Claim is refused because the terms of the Promotion have not been met, the Promoter’s decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or terminate the Promotion with 14 days’ notice.
